What's New in MongoDB 4.2 for Morgan Stanley

September 14, 2019
MongoDB is the general available NoSQL database at Morgan Stanley. Our 4.2 release provides ACID warranties and advanced data processing pipelines of all sizes, protected by some of the industry's most advanced encryption controls - supported in the data center, in a hybrid model and as a fully managed, cloud-native MongoDB service available on AWS, Azure and GCP. In our webinar we introduce the following new features: * ACID guarantees: distributed cross-shard transactions, global point-in-time read access, and changeable shard key-values * Queries and Analytics: Atlas Data Lake, materialized on-demand views, wildcard indices, and MongoDB charts for comprehensive data visualization * Resiliency and scaling: repeatable read and write access, ten times faster dial speed, and Zstandard compression * Enterprise Security: Client-side encryption at the field level, multiple certification bodies with certificate changes without any downtime and three times less audit effort * Run Anywhere: Atlas auto-scaling, full-text search service and integration with Kubernetes and Apache Kafka Morgan Stanley attendees will have the opportunity throughout the session to ask live questions and get answers from a MongoDB solution architect.
